Easter at St Andrews

Sandra and John reach top of Ben Loyal

Charity climb for the church sees Sandra and John reach top of Ben Loyal.

Church bell rung 70 times

On Friday, 9 Sept., the church bell was rung 70 times at noon, to commemorate each year of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. All church business meetings are suspended this week during the official ten days of mourning. Her Majesty was an example to us all, especially because of her outspoken Christian faith.

Class from Golspie Primary visit St Andrews Church

Mrs MacGruer’s class from Golspie Primary visited our church to learn about Christianity and Christian churches.  The messages from the class are clear …

“We learned about the communion table.”

“We learned about the graves in the graveyard.”

Lockdown Food Deliveries

Our church doors may be closed but our work still continues. Here is John, our minister, with the 18 food bags which are about to be delivered to the housebound and the tables are set ready for others to come and collect what they are needing today. A typical Sunday for us in the present pandemic.
